LANGUAGE LEARNING VIDEOS - GERMAN A1
This A1 video course includes a series of short lessons designed for beginners of German, covering around 30 key topics relevant to everyday communication. Each video is approximately 5–15 minutes long and by the end of the course you should be able to:
Understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases
Introduce yourself and others, and ask and answer simple personal questions (e.g. Wie heißt du?, Woher kommst du?)
Interact in a simple way if the other person speaks slowly and clearly
Use numbers, prices, dates, days, and times in everyday situations
Order food and drink in cafés and restaurants, and handle basic shopping tasks
Ask for and give simple directions using prepositions of place (in, auf, neben)
Talk about daily routines and activities in the present tense
Describe your immediate environment (e.g. home, family, weather, hobbies) with basic vocabulary
Use definite and indefinite articles (der, die, das, ein, eine) and simple sentence structures
Express likes, dislikes, and simple preferences (Ich mag…, Ich spiele gern…)
