  • 3e stands for our method: Examples, Explanation and Exercise. Every LLV is made up of these three components. First you see/hear where the topic is used, then how it is created (grammar rules) and then you practise how to use it yourself.

  • Once you purchase access to a level (A1, A2, B1 or B2 at €15 a level, or €25 for two levels or €50 for all four levels), you click on the first video and you can start listening. Don’t forget to click on CC (Close Captioning) to see the words being spoken, in case you would like to makes notes.

  • Hilary Eckerson is the owner of 3e Language Services. It is currently (2025) a subsidiary of Prairie Homes AB, registered in Sweden.

  • There are 55 videos in total. If feedback points to a need for additional grammar points to be explained, 3e might add videos in the future.

  • Intensive Language Courses are tailor-made to suit an individual or company (group). They are 1, 2, 3 or 4 days long and can be booked during s FREE consultation session in line with a trainer’s availability.

  • We offer a FREE 30-minute consultation to people who want to find out more about a country. We can help you to plan a holiday or trip, for example. If you are moving there, we can do research for you with regard to taxes, residence permits or citizenship requests. We cannot do the process for you but we can give you step-by-step instructions on what forms to use, what documents you need and where to send your application to.

  • We offer a FREE consultation in which we analyse your skills level and discuss your objectives. In the case of an Intensive Course, we help you to find dates and decide on a platform to use for the actual lessons.

  • We can provide a certificate of attendance, signed and dated by 3e and the trainer (in the case of an Intensive Course). We also provide a receipt for you if you purchase access to an LLV course.

  • In order to ensure everyone gets the chance to ask questions, practise speaking and to limit connection difficulties, we do not recommend more than 8 people participate in a course.

  • Simply click on the button to PAY or BOOK and you will be forwarded the payment page. In the case of specialist courses, we may agree with you to send an invoice by email.

  • In the case of an LLV, examples are given on the topic first (usually two to four topics are covered in one video), next the grammar is explained using the same examples or additional ones if the topic is a little complex, then exercises are provided at the end for self-testing and correction. Answers are provided.

  • 3e is a small organisation with twenty years’ experience in language teaching and training. We are small and compact with direct communication channels and with three straightforward products to choose from in six different languages to choose from. We adhere to the topics listed in the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), also followed by CAMBRIDGE. We do not simply teach words and their meanings, but how to use them in daily life and, if requested, in business. We simulate real-life situations where you practise their use until you become confident in their application.

  • 3e Language Services is committed to providing a positive and respectful learning environment for all participants. We reserve the right to cancel or suspend any course if a participant engages in abusive, discriminatory, racist, or otherwise unacceptable behaviour. Please note that since payment is made up front, a refund will not be granted for the suspended participant if the remaining participants wish to continue with the course.
